Germaphobia
The task was to illustrate Germophobia in an ad. I was only allowed to use abstract shapes in order to convey what germaphobia was.

This 11x17 poster is a depiction of what the disease is and what it entails. Acme Gothic Bold is used for the heading and the subheading is in Acme Gothic Regular. The title is depicted in all caps and bold to capture the attention of the audience to the phobia.

These red-orange triangles are placed to symbolize a person who is targeting the “germs.”

These rounded shapes were made to depict germs. When grotesque images are depicted, colors such as green, yellow, and brown are used. That is why I chose these colors. These shapes are supposed to resemble a germ or bacteria under a microscope.

These rounded shapes are seen on the bottom right corner and the right side of the poster partially cut off. This was done to depict as if they were falling off the page since the red triangles are targetting them.

These are two mock-ups depicting what the poster would look like in different spaces. The first is an office space where this poster can be displayed. The second is a mock-up of how it would look like posted up as someone is walking down a block.
